"Dockyard Delivery"

October 1940 at London docks, England. It is the end of the Battle of Britain,
and the Luftwaffe are trying to entice the R.A.F. to come up and fight them.
But the R.A.F. will only fly if bombers come over. So the Luftwaffe respond by
attaching small bombs to Me. 109 fighters. Thus was born the 'Jabo' or
fighter-bomber. Shown is Hans Ekkehard Bob (60 victories) attacking dock
installations in this extremely dramatic portrayal of one of the Luftwaffe's
very first surprise attacks with the Jabo. After dropping their bombs, the
109's revert back to their 'fighter' role.
