Plak Mounting

You can plak mount almost any paper product or document.  Common items are photos, posters, maps, newspaper clippings, sketches, certificates and diplomas.  This unique style of mounting and protecting your keepsakes is attractive, versatile and economical.  Plak mounting creates a non-glare matte finish on your item that is protected from harmful U.V. rays, and can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Your artwork is mounted and laminated to a custom cut wood-fibre backing.  You can choose to have your piece hang flush on the wall, or appear to be floating with the addition of a special moulding to the backside of the piece.  A 45-degree bevel and your choice of trim colour are applied to the edges, and a "D" ring is added for hanging.
