AND SPECIAL EFFECTS WORK
Alexis generates creative improvements in the work of writers, costume and set designers, composers, choreographers, builders and performers to exponentially produce added value for the audience. He links in synergy the experts from all creative fields within movies, festivals and shows, connecting their work with inventive ideas and enhancing it with breathtaking effects driving the sense of impossible made real for the spectators.
Alexis worked as the creative director for the sell-out Italian musical Aladin created by the Pooh, developing special effects for the show, including a flying carpet with two people on board.
Alexis turned the wildest imaginations to an active reality on Cartoon Network’s Ben10 - The Musical, where he transferred this well-known cartoon to an on stage presence bringing the personalities of the individual alien characters to life in front of a live audience. To do so he drew on his magical and pyrotechnic skills to create flame-shooting bodies, disappearance illusions, flying aliens, and quick change switches.
In addition to such productions, Alexis has also developed special on-stage effects as the creative director for the world tour of respected Italian singer, Gigi D’Alessio.
While in the board of directors of the e-Luminate festival, he created the first interactive performance between a live act and the projection on a building.
Alexis invented the fantasy character Grotto that was featured in the award winning honomym movie as celebrated in the Giffoni Film Festival 2015.
